Cuero hospital hosts patriotic health fair

CUERO - Cuero Community Hospital's Annual Health and Wellness Fair will be from 3 - 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Cuero Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall.
This year's theme is "Red, White & Blue for a Healthy You."
Free health tests and screenings will include cholesterol, blood sugar level, depression screening, pulse oximetry, blood pressure and body fat analysis.
Lipid profiles will be available for $15 and PSA tests for $15 also. Flu shots will be $20 each and be given only to those at least 18 years old. Medicare recipients, please bring your Medicare card.
The South Texas Blood and Tissue Center will hold a blood drive in its mobile unit from 2 - 6 p.m. Blood donors must have a photo ID with them. All donors will receive a free gift.
Safety will be emphasized by the Cuero Police and Fire Departments, and the Texas Department of Transportation will have a rollover convincer to demonstrate the negative effects of not wearing a seat belt.
Door prize drawings and free giveaways will be held.
