The Faith Academy Lady Cougars opened their basketball season with a 57-40 non-conference loss to Austin Brentwood on Tuesday at the Faith Academy gym.

Kayla Escalante led the Lady Cougars with 13 points, while Emily Graff and Courtney Duke both scored eight points. Faith Academy hosts St. Joseph on Thursday.
