The Laureate Alpha Omicron Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met recently in the home of Frances Smith. Co-hostesses were Carolyn Prichard and Dorothy Koenig.

The program covered the 2009 state convention, held during the summer at Moody Gardens in Galveston. Virginia Sullivan was elected chapter sweetheart and will be honored with brunch in February. Rice and beans were collected for VCAM and a family will be selected for a Thanksgiving meal.
