Praha will host Veterans Day ceremonies

The 47th annual All-Veterans Day service will be held in Praha on Sunday.
Events will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a Mass offered for all veterans.
Assembly at the cemetery begins at 10:30 a.m.; ceremonies start at 11 a.m., with a flyover by U.S. Air Force planes.
Guest speaker will be Glen Gardner, past National Commander, Veteran of Foreign Wars.
A flyover and flower drop by the Commemorative Air Force will be at 11:45 a.m. The Schulenburg High School Band will perform.
A Praha-style fried chicken dinner, prepared by St. Rose School, will be served following the services.
Praha is two miles east of Flatonia on Farm-to-Market Road 1295 off of state Highway 90. Bring your lawn chairs, seating is limited.
