Four skaters from the Victoria Rollin Thunder speed skating team placed at the Houston Inline Marathon on Saturday.

Dan Carrion, 26, took third place in the professional men's marathon division with a time of one hour and 30 minutes. A marathon is 26.3 miles.

Nick Ruiz, 21, took first in his division of 20-to-29-year-old males in the half marathon with a time of 50 minutes and 11.13 seconds.

Jacob Silgero, 16, nabbed second place in the 13-to-19-year-old males division in the half marathon with a time 45 minutes and 23 seconds.

Carly Cavazos, 13, won first and set a course record in the 13-to-19-year-old females with a time of 40 minutes and 31.14 seconds in the half marathon.
