On the yard waste program: It is a shame the city is struggling for yard waste collection funds, but paying out thousands of dollars for legal fees.

Even though the city budget accounts may be different, accounts can be changed around or new budget lines for yard waste can be created. Where there is a will, there is a way.

I don't think they should be picking up yard waste anymore because they will charge you for it.

They're taking enough out for our garbage fees as it is.

I was just wondering how long it would be before Laurent and Airline streets will be completely opened? What has taken so long? It can't be the weather. They are out there working a day or two, and then they just leave it.

Why do you think people don't vote? I think people don't vote because they have to stand in line and wait. Most people are busy and really don't have time. I think if the population had a choice of voting by mail, then that is the way it should be. You have a lot more voters.
