A man from Cortez, Colo., was arrested Friday afternoon after fleeing a trooper who was trying to stop him for speeding.
Department of Public Safety Trooper Jason Price spotted the 45-year-old man traveling on U.S. Highway 77 North at about 90 mph.
Price tried to pull over the driver for speeding, but the man wouldn't stop, zooming in and out of traffic on a motorcycle, according to a DPS arrest report.
Other officers were called for assistance. The driver was found behind Walmart on his motorcycle, according to the report.
He was detained on suspicion of reckless driving and evading arrest detention with a vehicle, according to the report.
