I am very much for the continued yard waste pickup program. I feel that if the city does not provide the service, it is going to find many more homes with piles of debris, which in turn makes our city look bad. I think it is an extremely helpful service.

What is the city council thinking? $750,000 to promote Victoria: What do we have to promote? We do not have amusement parks, mountains, clear streams, oceans or lakes. Promote shopping: The Victoria Advocate and local television can do that at the retailers' cost.
