Editor, the Advocate:

I am a member of the Guadalupe 4-H, and I raise a pig each year for the stock show. The O'Connor family donated the Victoria Community Center for the youth clubs to use for the stock show, and I think it is wrong that we are required to pay rent to the city to use the buildings.

All of the money we work for and earn is used for scholarships and to help each of us build up some money for college or our futures.

By having to pay for the Community Center each year, it is just taking money out of our pockets. I'm sure there are plenty of other events that could support the Community Center. Let the youth of Victoria who support 4-H and FFA keep their money. We work hard for it.
