Editor, the Advocate:

I'm writing you today about our government. Our government in my opinion is not keeping up with our Constitution, the ultimate power in the United States.

The federal government is spending way too much money, and is way too big.

In the Constitution, it states that we didn't want a big government. That's why we split away from the British because their government was getting out of hand, and that's how I feel that our government is turning out to be.

Also, people who get food stamps should only buy food that they need; they don't need to spend it on junk food.

They need to spend it on meals that they make for their family. So I think that the government needs to only put major food items in there or at least take some junk food out or limit it to only a certain amount of candy, etc.

Hopefully, our government will shape up and realize everything - realize it quickly, because who knows how much more people can take of this.
