Ryan Belcik recently was hired as a purchasing specialist at the University of Houston-Victoria. His duties include assisting in requisitioning materials and managing vendor relations.
Dmitri Sobolev recently was hired as an assistant professor of biology in the School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Houston-Victoria. He also conducts environmental molecular biology research. He earned his doctorate in biology from University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa.
Kacey Lindemann recently was hired as a senior business adviser at the University of Houston-Victoria Small Business Development Center. Her duties include offering free business consulting services to area entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs.
John Meade recently was named the September Employee of the Month at the University of Houston-Victoria. He is the senior maintenance technician in facilities and has worked at UHV since 2001. Meade received a framed certificate and a $50 gift card.
