EL CAMP - Rosenberg Lamar Consolidated scored a fourth-quarter touchdown to upend the El Campo Ricebirds in a District 23-4A game.

The loss ended El Campo's chance at the outright district championship, though the Ricebirds will play in the playoffs.

Waylon Malone had 100 passing yards for El Campo, and Landon Appling totaled 48 yards rushing.

El Campo finishes 7-1 overall, 3-1 in district. Lamar finishes 4-5, 2-2.
