HALLETTSVILLE - East Bernard rushed for 451 yards in taking a 48-26 win over Hallettsville in a Districtt 26-2A contest and the season finale for both teams Friday night.

Running back Donnell Schuler led East Bernard (4-6, 2-4) with 186 yards on 16 carries and scored on a 40-yard run, while freshman quarterback Ty Slanina gained 102 yards on just 7 carries and had scoring runs of 68 and 7 yards.

Halfback Zach Castillo scored three touchdowns on short runs of 1, 1 and 2 yards and Tyler Sainz scored on 37-yard run and had 68 yards on 5 carries.

Christian Wood-Dvorak scored all four of Hallettsville touchdowns on pass receptions of 16, 21, 15 and 16 yards from quarterback Braden Kahanek.
