KARNES CITY - Navarro (9-1, 5-0) claimed the district championship again with a 21-7 victory over Karnes City (7-3, 3-2).

The game was scoreless at halftime and then tied 7-7 at the end of the third quarter. The Panthers scored the final 14 points of the game to pull away.

Karnes City's Clayton Labus came into the game with 837 yards passing and seven touchdowns. However, Navarro held the Badgers to only 15 yards passing on two of 10 attempts.
