Construction continues for the three Victoria school district campuses. All schools are scheduled to open in fall 2010.
Victoria West High School and Harold Cade Middle School
Continued roof gravel are A and B. 95 percent complete. Roof dry-in complete, metal coping at parapet walls 85 percent complete
Continued framing and lath for plaster ceilings are H and north side of entry canopy
Formed and poured remaining locker bases in boys' athletics- area H
Installed wood blocking at clerestory window openings at high school
Installed split faced masonry to stair No. 1 and 4 in high school
Drywall framing clerestory walls and north side administration extension wall
Fire sprinkler mains on second floor 99 percent complete, continued third floor mains at high school
Electrical rough-in on second floor, piping rough in auditorium, starting pulling main electrical feeds from transformer to main switch gear
Installed third floor ductwork area A, continued chilled water piping to boilers
Started installing acid waste piping, second floor domestic water, tested roof drain piping for CPR 12r
Tape/float on second floor sheet rock top out 99 percent complete, started third floor
Installed remaining windows on south side area B
Installed z-furring strips for metal panels at west side entry to gym area G in high school
Tape, float and paint area A and B on first and second floor
Continued installing ceramic tile in area A and B restrooms on second floor in middle school
Completed mechanical yard masonry walls in middle school
Installed ceiling grid and light fixtures in middle school
Installed walk-in coolers at middle school
Continued installing millwork at middle school
Continued cold rolled framing to top of walls at exposed ceiling locations
Installed processed road base at service yard at 25 percent complete
Victoria East High School
Began installing metal wall panels, locker bases
Completed conduit boxes in area G
Installed interior CMU walls
Completed various CMU pinch list items
Began installing metal wall panels, roof in area E
Began installing plaster soffit at clear story, masonry at stair No. 3 and 4
Began installing windows in area B, C and D east wall.
