A beautiful Friday morning and a big day for some area football teams as playoffs kick into high gear. Good luck to your favorite team.

Take a look at the article today on the Victoria Mall that our Gabe Semenza put together. The seven things you never knew about the mall are interesting.

What's your favorite thing about the mall? We'd like to know. I'll be at Halepaska's Bakery until 9 a.m., then around downtown Hallettsville checking out the courthouse renovation and the new annex until 11 or so. I'll probably pop into the Kountry Bakery and say howdy to the coffee drinkers even if I don't set up shop there.
