  • Joe Adams is a very good friend of my fathers. And let me tell you. He is a very good man. I have not one bad thing to say other than the very best about him. I will never forget this particular incident that happened to me over at least 15 years ago now and Joe was a part of it.

I was behind Joe coming into town from Lindenau,TX right outside of Cuero, TX one day. An older couple in front of him hit their breakes and then Joe hit his and being the young 16 year old I was I wasn't paying the best of attention. I rear ended right into his flat bed truck. Man was I scared. Joe jumped out and knew who I was right away. He calmed me down and insisted that it was gonna be alright. He called my daddy and told him it wasn't my fault(even though by law is was..hehe) and that I was fine. He was just so kind and being that was my frist and ONLY wreck I have ever been in...I will never forget his sweet, calm, kind manner. It's not my most favorite memory but he made it easier to handle. If your reading this Joe....A big hello from the MILLER family!

  • Very nice story, Sonny Long.
This is what makes Texas so great, people like this.
Small town values and morals that are passed from one generation to the next are dwindling. Thank God they're not extinct.
