Victoria's Texas Roadhouse kicked off a food drive Wednesday to benefit the Food Bank of the Golden Crescent.

The restaurant is under new management and the drive is a way to show Crossroads residents it's part of the community, said Rachel Mason, Texas Roadhouse's local store marketer.

Customers who bring in two food items per adult receive 10 percent off their food purchases, Mason said.

The drive lasts through Dec. 20 and Texas Roadhouse has no set goals regarding the amount of food it hopes to bring in, she said. The restaurant will accept canned food items but no cash donations to the food bank.
