VICTORIA - A 19-year-old Victoria man by deputies Tuesday on suspicion of possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of burglary of a vehicle and evading arrest.
VICTORIA - Robert Anthony Palacios, 23, of Victoria by deputies Monday on a warrant charging him with burglary of a habitation.
VICTORIA - A 17-year-old Port Lavaca man by officers Monday on suspicion of possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana and theft of property valued between $50 and $500.
VICTORIA - Gary Lee Grosenbacher, 51, of Victoria by deputies Monday on a warrant charging him with theft of between $500 and $1,500.
VICTORIA - No one was injured in a three-car chain reaction wreck in the 1400 block of Sam Houston Drive. A 34 -year-old woman, driving a white Ford Taurus ran into the back of a brown Chevrolet Lumina carrying a 9-month-old infant and a 40 year-old woman. The Lumina then struck a GMC truck carrying two teenage boys. The infant was checked out at the scene, but not taken a hospital, said senior traffic patrol officer D. Brogger.

It would be helpful to know the distance between these vehicles at the time the Taurus hit. This information might help those of us who believe we are at a safe distance four feet away when waiting at an intersection.
