Editor, the Advocate:

I would like to comment on the Fatal Funnel. It is sad that the person who originally caused the whole incident was given a very light sentence. I feel that person should have received at least 30 years for being part of this incident.

Our laws are too lean on these human smugglers and need to be upgraded by our congressmen and senators, but for all we know, they are probably benefiting by employing them under the table like everyone else does.

I pray for the victims of this senseless act and hope one day justice will prevail.
