SHINER AREA BIG BUCK CONTEST: Benefiting several organizations including Shiner Volunteer Fire Dept., Lavaca County EMS, Shiner Youth Soccer, Girl & Boy Scouts, FFA Stock Show. The Shiner Business Men's Club is entering its 28th year of this event that allows you a chance to test your hunting skills. Entry fee is $20 and all entries must be in by Nov. 6. Prizes available for the four best bucks in each of six areas (Lavaca County, Colorado County, Fayette County, Gonzales County, Texas Open Division North & Texas Open Division South) with grand prize awarded to overall winner. 17 & Under Youth Division available.
