Editor, the Advocate:

Thanks be for the wonderful weather and for all those who made the Veterans Day parade and ceremony what it was. Special thanks to our State Sen. Glenn Hegar for his talk to us.

Shame be on those who do not even bother to take time off from work to honor our veterans who made their freedom to work possible. It is really a slap in the face to all veterans not to pause to recognize what they have done.

I hope to see you all at the ceremony next year.
