"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and cometh down from the Father."

This is going to be a very short column, because it is "Thanksgiving Time" and I'm going fishing and fishing, and then, fishing.

The Victoria school district is giving us a long Thanksgiving break, and we will have nine days off before we go back to school. I've named this break "Thanksgiving/Thank Goodness."

I believe that every good gift cometh from above, and I surely want to thank our superintendent and school board for sending this gift down to us.

Now, I'm out of here and will be back fuller from fishing and more ready to pass this gift down to my students.

Dear Lord, thank You for being "The Big Boss" of us all and giving us good and perfect gifts each moment of our lives. I've got to hurry because I just know the Flounder Run is just starting at Port Aransas.
