Editor, the Advocate:

On Nov. 13, a faith-inspiring event occurred at Faith Family Church in Victoria. This event was the MERCYME concert sponsored by ManToMan Ministries, Interstate Batteries, and 89.3KSBJ-FM.

This sold-out concert (proceeds will go to the Family Outdoor Expo) could not have taken place without the many volunteer's helping in any and all ways.

Thanks go to Pastor Larry Helms with Faith Family Church for donating the use of their facility, Joshua Hubble, and their church volunteers. Thanks to all the Victoria community volunteers who played a part in making the event a successful one.

I thank Glen Dry (ManToMan Ministries) and James Williams (89.3KSBJ) for their effort in coordinating the process to make the concert happen. Accolades are given to Randy Trotter and family, of Interstate Batteries, for financial assistance in helping to make the concert a success.

Most important of all, I give thanks to God for His divine favor upon this concert and all individuals who were involved in this historical event for Victoria and the surrounding area(s), from Comfort to Seadrift to Guatemala and the world via the Internet.
