Editor, the Advocate:

I recently visited Victoria and was impressed with the two high school campuses that are being built.

I am a graduate of Stroman High School and have worked as a Texas band director for 26 years, the last 18 in the Rio Grande Valley.

It is my sincerest hope that "both" campuses will be treated equally in terms of adequate funding, facilities, fine arts class scheduling and central office support. The first time around (VHS-SHS) was not very good.

All of the students who will enroll in these new campuses deserve a fair chance to receive the best education possible.

What you sow is what you will reap.
