Editor, the Advocate:
Jim Wyatt, I have read the column (Perspectives Page, Nov. 22) you sent to the Victoria Advocate and the three elected representatives within Super District 5.
Gabriel Soliz, Denise Rangel and I have voted against the southwest Ben Jordan sewer plant project every time it came up before City Council. I do not know what more you could expect of us.
I have called for a workshop on Dec. 1 to discuss all options for this plant.
Since your retirement, you may be unable to stay abreast of these current events, but we are solidly united in representing the best interest of Super District 5.
A new sewer plant is vitally important to the city of Victoria. My opposition to the proposed plan is that I feel the public has not been adequately included in the process of making the difficult decision of where to build this new plant.
Joe Truman, Super District 5 councilman, Victoria

**Sniff, sniff** Is that re-election rhetoric I am smelling in the air?
