The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi issued a flood warning along the San Antonio River in Goliad Saturday afternoon.
As of 1 p.m. Saturday, the water was at 16.6 feet, according to the National Weather Service weather report.
The river will continue to rise until Monday afternoon to about 26 feet, according to the report.
The flood stage is at 25 feet.
At 25 feet, minor flooding can occur on the low-lying parts along the river of Victoria, Goliad and Calhoun counties.
Those with plans to be near the river should monitor any weather updates.
