No, schools should not teach creationism. Not in science classes because creationism is a religious concept, not a scientific theory. I also believe that science teachers should present guidelines to students so they will have a good understanding of the nature of science and to be able to determine for themselves what science is and what it is not.
Ray, Cuero
We are a non-Christian family. Not all of us believe the same. Therefore, I believe it would be educational to teach creationism.
After all, this is America: freedom of speech, religion, etc.
Lou, Inez
I feel that schools should teach creationism.
The others are just theories, and creationism is a theory.
It is the one that has the longest history, so it should definitely be included, since the others do not have a written history as long as creationism does.

Elvia, don't worry about losing your freedom.
You will always be able to spew your hatred at ignorance.
Beatrice, Port Lavaca
I more than agree with Jode of Cuero. I have always liked Adam Lambert's voice and was looking forward to his act at the Music Awards.
I was completely disgusted, as it was nasty, immoral and ABC needs a kick in the butt for allowing it.
Sue, Edna
Major Nidal Hasan should be put before a military firing squad, promptly, even if in a sitting position.
Doc, Yoakum
No, I do not believe that creationism should be taught in the schools. God made the world, God made the people in His image and that is part of what is wrong with this country today: that people have forsaken God. I would take my child out of the class, had I one in there.
Gerri, Victoria
Yes, I think that creationism should be taught in today's schools.
Bob, Yoakum
No, the public schools should definitely not teach creationism. It goes against the separation of church and state. It also contradicts hundreds of years of scientific study.
