Jeffrey and Dawn Dietzel of Victoria celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Saturday, July 18, 2009, at First English Lutheran Church, Hiller Activity Center. A reception, dinner, and dance was hosted by the couple and their three children.

Dawn Speed and Jeffrey Dietzel were married July 21, 1984 at First English Lutheran Church in Victoria. Children of the couple are Andrew Dietzel, Kayla Dietzel and Jonathan Dietzel.

Jeffrey and Dawn were blessed to have their parents, Milton and Ruby Dietzel and Dennis and Barbara Speed in attendance on this special day. In addition, original wedding attendants in attendance included: Arlen Miller Jr., Rawley Dietzel, Troy Wacker, David Collins, Sara Schulz Elsner, Lana Speed Tesch, Sandra Dietzel Wacker and Donna Spies Ashcraft.

Dawn is employed by Citizens Medical Center as a registered nurse in the emergency room. She is active at First English Lutheran Church as a member of the church council, board of youth, good cheer committee, and youth leader.

Jeff has been employed by Union Carbide (now DOW Chemical) for the past 20 years, in addition to being actively involved in commercial shrimping in the area. He is also active in Boy Scout Troop 108.
