Lynda Gayle Linam and Kenneth Russell Parma of Victoria exchanged double ring wedding vows Saturday October 3, 2009, 3:00 in the afternoon, at Holy Family Catholic Church. Father Greg Korenek officiated the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Wayne Linam and the late Charlene Linam of Victoria and Ben and Joyce Parma of Yorktown.

Given in marriage by her father, Lynda wore her mother's wedding gown that was worn at her wedding forty-nine years ago, and by her sister Rhonda twenty-five years ago. The formal gown is fashioned of bridal satin and Chantilly lace. It is styled with a deep yoke of Chantilly lace forming a Sabrina neckline that scalloped down the fitted bodice. The long, fitted sleeves tapered to petal points over the wrist. The full skirt held a deep horizontal insert of lace at the mid-level. Satin bows enhanced the gown at the front and back. A headpiece of crystals and pearls held her silk illusion veil. Lynda carried a white linen handkerchief with brown linen appliquéd flowers and embroidery that was "something borrowed" from Jennifer Hartman.

Lynda carried a bouquet of fresh fall flowers that were handed to her individually by her Honorary Bridesmaids as her father walked her down the aisle. The Honorary Bridesmaids were: Stacy Arnecke, Liz Barta, Jennifer Carrasco, Michelle Cooley, Amy Cooper, Claire Hallett, Edith Hastings, Kelly Hartman Henke, Tracy May, Melissa Schindler, Jennifer Wendel.

Amy Sneed Segler attended her as Matron of Honor. Honorary Attendants were: Gordon Linam, brother of the bride; Rhonda Harlow, sister of the bride; Kimberly Ann Harlow, Karen Nicole Harlow, Abigail Faith Linam, Frank Aaron Linam, nieces and nephew of the bride.

Shawn Hallett served as best man. Ushers included Todd Cooley and Randy Chambers.

Gift Bearers were Cynthia and Paul Brown, sister and brother-in-law of the groom. Lector was Heather Brown. Guest Book Attendant was Brenda Perez, sister of the groom.

Pianist was LeeAnn Linam, sister-in-law of the bride. Vocalist was long-time friend Joel Nava. Special thanks are given to Sheri Sklar-Shutterfly Portraits for her creative photography and Gayla Whitaker for the special care she gave to Lynda's bridal gown.

A reception and dinner hosted by the couple's parents, was held at Olde Victoria at the Oak Room.

Following wedding travel to Aruba, the couple will reside in Victoria.
