When it rains, it pours.

Trite? Yep. True? Oh yeah.

This weekend's rains have swollen creeks and rivers. Yoakum had 11 inches of rain and flooding, as did several other areas.

How do you prepare or what precautions do you take when you learn of flood warnings?

We'd like to know. I'm at the Hardback Cafe inside Hastings until 9 a.m., then will be in Yoakum. Ranging Reporter Erica Rodriguez will be out from noon to 1 p.m. at Fossati's Deli on Main Street in Victoria.
