Mr. and Mrs. Richard C. and Frances Mendez celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the Sky Restaurant. Immediate family and her bridesmaid Emily Estrada and husband Roque attended the celebration.

The couple were married on September 26, 1959 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Father Rosetti officiated the ceremony.

Richard is retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Frances is retired from Bill Barnes.
