VC's nursing programs offer information

The Victoria College Vocational Nursing and Associate Degree - Nursing programs will host a series of nursing information nights aimed at providing information to those who wish to enter the field of nursing.

Each information session will provide details on the field of nursing, the Nursing Entrance Test, credit and non-credit allied health classes and the rewards and challenges of VC's Nursing programs.

Nursing combines the art of caring with a love for science and the dedication to develop the skills necessary to help care for the sick and provide healthcare information to patients.

Meetings are: Vocational nursing program: Hallettsville, vocational nursing program, 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 5 at the VC Vocational Nursing School, 1410 N. Texana St; Cuero, 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10 at VC Nursing School, 103 Hospital Drive behind the Cuero Community Hospital; Gonzales, 6 p.m, Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the VC Nursing School, 424 E. Sarah DeWitt Drive.

Victoria programs will cover both the vocational nursing program and the associate degree - nursing program. It will be at 6 p.m. in the new Health Sciences Center, Room 132.
