Julian and Teresa Tijerina of Victoria celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on November 22, 2009 with a family dinner, hosted by their children.

Teresa Escalona and Julian Tijerina were married November 22, 1959. They have 4 children: Ralph Tijerina, David (Carmen) Tijerina, Rosario Tijerina, Charity Gonzalez, and Jesse (Tere) Tijerina; and 5 grandchildren: Raul Tijerina, Paul Tijerina, Evan Tijerina, Yvonne Tijerina, and Jessica Tijerina.

Julian and Teresa are both happily retired and enjoy spending lots of time with their family and friends.
