The Sacred Heart Home and School Association volunteers are gearing up for their 58th annual Apple Strudel Bake scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 31.

This fundraiser, for the Home and School Association, transforms more than 4,000 pounds of delicious red apples, along with sugar, butter, cinnamon, pecans, coconut and raisins into more than 2.400 strudels.

The strudels come ready-to-eat or unbaked for a fresh treat at a later date. Unbaked strudels sell for $12 each, and will be available for pickup at the Sacred Heart Family Center on the day of the event.
