Ranging Reporter J.R. Ortega had a change of scenery today. The Java Bean at DeTar Hospital is quiet, but has its people coming in and out. He asks the question of the day: Have you ever known a soldier who has died in action?
A: "It's a true mess. If people do it, they do it because they want to."
Lowell Adams, Victoria, Walmart
A: "When I see stories like that, it touches my heart because I have two sons that are to Iraq next month."
Vic Kocian, Victoria, Java Bean owner
A: "Being an ex-military person, anyone that dies is a brother or sister."
Richard Carney, Victoria, security guard
A: "Instead of coming home, they are coming home in a casket with an American flag on it. They should bring them home to fight their own wars here."
Patrick Petru, Victoria, unemployed
