Corrections and Clarifications

Lavaca County has two hospital districts - Lavaca and Yoakum. The tax rate shown on a graphic on Page A1 on Wednesday, Oct. 21, combined the two tax rates. The owner of a home valued at $100,000 in the Lavaca Hospital District would pay $82 in taxes, while the owner of a home of the same value in the Yoakum Hospital District would pay $192.20 in taxes.
