Another storm system will move across South Central Texas Thursday, increasing rain chances.

The National Weather Service reports there will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms with this weather system late Wednesday night and Thursday.

Isolated strong to severe storms could develop along and east of a line from Kerrville to San Antonio to Victoria Thursday afternoon and evening.

Brief periods of moderate to heavy rain are possible again on Thursday. Rainfall of 1 to 3 inches are possible, especially along and east of U.S. 281.

Drier conditions will follow Friday afternoon through Friday night.
