Early voting in person for Tuesday's constitutional amendment election ends Friday.
The elections office at 111 N. Glass St. in downtown Victoria will have extended hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday.
Polls across the county will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Elections Administrator George Matthews reported that 425 people voted in person for this election by the end of Thursday. Another 748 mail ballots had been returned.
The election location for Precinct 24 in Victoria County will be changed for Tuesday's constitutional amendment election.
Precinct 24 formerly voted at the Heritage Funeral Chapel, but that location is no longer available. Precinct 24 will be combined with Precinct 23 and both will vote at the county service center at 13323 Nursery Drive in Nursery.
The service center is behind an electrical substation on Nursery Drive.
