"And Jesus said unto them, 'Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find.' They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes."

One day, I was fishing in the early morning and was so excited because I had just caught a keeper trout.

There is nothing more exciting than having the seagulls hit the bay water for live shrimp near you, as you are wade fishing.

I was so excited and full of hope that my hands were actually shaking so much, I had to struggle to successfully put the bait on the hook. Something or Someone told me to throw in a certain direction, and I did.

Hurriedly, I continued to cast and catch, cast and catch. I could truly feel the adrenaline flowing as I continued to cast and catch. What excitement I felt.

By mid-morning, the stringer was full of trout as we headed to the shore, and I could feel the relaxed feeling of a truly successful fishing day. I put down the heavy stringer and pulled myself onto a shell shelf on the shore. What a great feeling to have that adrenaline flowing as I relived catching one trout after another.

All things happen for a reason, and the adrenaline rush I felt as I fished, was one feeling I will remember for a lifetime. I suppose that is the one feeling that brings fisher people back fishing, even after not catching a fish on their last few fishing trips.

I sat on the shore and thanked my Lord for this success I had in my life today and for the other successes I have had in my life. I said to myself "I could not have done it without you, Lord."

Thanks for giving me direction, Lord.

Dear Lord, Thanks for the great fishing day. You truly blessed me with a fishing success story today. Lord. Thanks also for being my fishing companion today and my faithful companion everyday.
