  • I guess that the 427 yards we ran up against Floresville was a totally different offense than want we ran Friday against Sharpstown?, did'nt think so, this is a young team that needs and will learn how to finish off an opponent, i remember the days when we longed for a 2 win season, and only hoped we would lose the standard 8-9 games a year by only 3 points, real fans support their team not rip into the coach for 1 game, I know and understand what coasch is trying to do here, i call the games on the radio for the past 8 years, so i have seen the good and the bad up close, if you are going to talk bad about this team at least don't hide behind a made up user name, mine is David Barecky, GO SANDCRABS

  • LOL! This coach took Calhoun from bottom dwellers to 3 straight playoff appearances and people are ready to burn him because they are 2-2. Everyone knew this was going to be a rebuilding year for the 'crabs. 2-2 is better than what Calhoun was used to during that 40 year losing streak. Don't be so quick to burn, especially when most people knew it would be a rebuilding year.

  • Calhoun lost to themselves and with 6 minutes left in the game. Poor play calling, missing assignments, and turnovers will not win a game. Coach Whit needs a new playbook. A 5 yr old can sit in the stands and figure out what play will be next. If you are going to run the ball, then switch up the run. Not just up the middle, up the middle, then pitch and go left. And if you are going to pass the ball, at least work on it during practice. I know these boys work hard during the week. I know they go out there and give it their all on Friday nights, but cussing and yelling at them when they do make a mistake only adds to stress which adds to mistakes. Fans are sick to death of listening to you cuss out their kids when a play goes wrong. You want results, lead by example. Stop riding around in your golf cart and work with the boys. You want results, show this young team what they are doing wrong instead of screaming like a madman. Our football team member numbers are dropping. There has to be a reason. You want results stop being a dictator and be a leader.
