KENEDY - Yorktown continued its undefeated streak, beating the Kenedy Lions 24-18.
Kenedy led 18-0 in the first half, scoring first on a pass and and two rushing plays by Rhett Bell. Kenedy (2-2) would not score again for the night.
Yorktown's first score was for two points when Erin Barefield ran it in when the Lions flubbed a 2-point conversion play.
Erin Barefield provided another score for Yorktown (4-0) when he hit Jayden Barefield for an 8-yard passing score.
Erin Barefield scored twice more for the Wildcats, one on a 12-yard run, and another on a 6-yard scoring toss, again to Jayeden Barefield.
