MEYERSVILLE - St. Peter and St. Paul Catholic Church will hold its annual festival Sunday on the church grounds on Farm-to-Market Road 237.
A Mass at 7 p.m. Saturday kicks off the event, with a second Mass scheduled 10:15 a.m. Sunday.
A barbecue beef dinner with German potatoes, pinto beans, cole slaw, cake and tea will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Adult plates are $7 and children under 12 can eat for $4. Plates are available for dining in or to go.
At 1 p.m., a live auction begins. Other activities include a country store, bingo, raffle, cakewalk, games and more.
A free dance featuring the Shiner Hobo Band begins at 3:30 p.m. For more information call the Rev. Frank B. Lenz at 361-275-3868.
