Soul mates Jessica Lyn Krenek and Jon Joseph Woolsey were united in marriage on Saturday, September 5, 2009, at the First Baptist Church in Bay City. The bride is the daughter of Gary R Lisa Krenek, the granddaughter of Preston R Jean Weeks, and the late Bill R Betty Krenek. The groom is the son of

Fern Woolsey. The bride's youngest sister, Chelsie Krenek, served as her Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Leslie Stange and Laurie Falknor (sisters of the bride), Holly Weeks and Brittany Weeks (cousins of the bride), and Leslie Richardson and Miranda Howell (long-time friends of the bride). Flower girls were Madison Woolsey (niece of the groom) and Camryn Stange (niece of the bride). The groom's brother Danny Woolsey, served as his Best Man. Groomsmen were Danny Andel (uncle of the groom), Barret Kolle, Chad Miller, Aaron Jackson, Richard Morales, and Matt Reagan (long-time friends of the groom). Ring bearers were Grady Weathers (cousin of the groom) and Preston Hauser (cousin of the bride). Ushers were Scott Stange (brother-in-law of the bride), Kyle Krobot (family of the bride), and Stephen Weathers (cousin of the groom).

The bride wore a stunning white satin gown, fully beaded with tiny crystals and pearls, a sweetheart neckline, and full-length train. She finished her look with an elbow-length beaded veil, a crystal and pearl tiara, pearl jewelry, and fabulous teal stilettos adorned with crystals on the silver heels. She carried a mixed wildflower bouquet that included yellow sunflowers, blue delphinium, and coral roses: tied together with white tulle and raffia.

The bride's attendants all wore teal colored dresses of varying styles and also carried a mixed wildflower bouquet. The flower girls wore white satin, tea-length dresses, tied with teal sashes and halos in their hair with white rose buds, tiny teal flowers, and satin ribbons. The groomsmen all wore black tuxedos with teal vests and bow ties, and the ring bearers wore tiny tuxedos to match. The ushers wore black tuxedos with black vests and bow ties.

The ceremony began at 6pm with a solo by Kara Douglas, "Ava Maria”, for the lighting of candles by Ryann Davis and Kalley Fikes. The groom's mother, wearing a coral dress, was escorted in by Stephen Weathers and the bride's mother, wearing a blue dress, was escorted in by Scott Stange and Kyle acrobat. The processional came in to the song "Bless the Broken Road" just before the bride's entrance. Jessica was breathtakingly beautiful, escorted down the aisle by her father to the song "It's Your Love. Brother Mike Zimmerman delivered the invocation and wedding message, and then led the exchange of vows and rings. The bride and groom then lit their unity candle to the singing of "The Lord's Prayer followed by some very touching words by special speaker William Troy Krenek. There was not a dry eye in the church as Mr. and Mrs. Jon Woolsey were introduced, and then cheers all around as the recessional left the church to "Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch".

The bride’s parents hosted a reception at the KC Hall, catered by Ricardo’s. Following dinner, The Bret Crenshaw Band got the celebration kicked off for a magical night full of dancing and celebration. The happy couple is honeymooning in the Bahamas, and they reside in Bay City where Jessica is an insurance agent with Farmers Insurance, and Jon is a Mechanical Engineer at Phillips.
