John and Lois Cano of Victoria celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on September 12, 2009 with a family dinner. The couple renewed their vows and a special nuptial blessing was given.

Lois Sanchez and John Cano were married September 12, 1969, at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Port Lavaca. They have 3 sons; John, Andrew, and Matthew, and 2 grandchildren; Brianna and Cecelia.
