  • "Signs, signs...everywhere a sign!"

I guess it was around 6 years ago when I went to Progreso, Mexico and got a canine tooth replaced with a ceramic one. The root canal and tooth cost me a whopping $350. Heck of a deal.

Well, some years later the tooth became loose, so I simply pulled it, cleaned and sterilized it and super glued it back in. No problem.

A few months ago, while chowing down on a bacon cheeseburger at one of my favorite establishments, I noticed that the tooth wasn't there when I left the restaurant. This was a real bummer, as I figured that I had swallowed it.

Then came the horrible monitoring of, well, you know what. One day went by, then two and three...nothing. I even had my wife scan my stomach with a metal detector and almost went to the emergency room for an x-ray.

On day 5, there she came. Intense sterilization and a super glue upgrade (gel) had me smiling again. Since then, I've been considering contacting Dr. Lee and it seems like every time I think about it, lo and behold is another article or billboard right in front of me. It's a sign, indeed.

God puts signs in front of us all the time, though most people don't recognize them as such but write them off as coincidence. I think it's time for me to tromp on down to Edna or Goliad to see Brother Buddy and get this problem resolved.

Thanks, Dr. Lee, for the signs. I'll be there shortly.
