  • Actually, disease and pain have been destroyed through Jesus Christ. You have to ask for divine healing and focus on Jesus Christ at the cross. You have to ask God for the healing through Jesus Christ, otherwise one cannot enjoy the benefits of real manifestations of healing. Nothing is in the Bible by accident. When you say that God cursed people down through the generations, you are speaking of the old convenant that God had with man through Moses. It is true that people were cursed under the law in the Old Testament because they were not under grace. God had not lived among humans yet, so he did not know what it was like to be human. He was able to experience it through Jesus Christ and that is why God has so much love and compassion for mankind because he knew what it was like to be human. When I say all disease was destroyed, that is a reality because if you focus on Jesus' sacrifice and realize that he took everything upon himself in your place, that opens up the path towards actual manifestations of healing and everything that goes along with grace. But you have to ask and be patient because there is a lesson behind everything. God did not create sickness, infact he hates it, but because man chooses to not seek knowledge of grace, the path remains hidden because people still live in the law of the Old Testament.

  • Well according to the Bible he is a jealous god and has cursed children generations down the line for what their ancestor did. All disease was destroyed?? Obviously that is not reality.

Are you saying the Bible is wrong in some aspects?

  • I'm always for preaching God's word to anyone who will listen. God's love and kindness are present every day on this earth, we just have to stop and listen in order to hear it. The problem that I have with these pastor's brand of ministry is that they preach too much in the law, or Old Testament. When Jesus Christ sacrificed himself upon the cross, he made a new covenant with man. A convenant in which all sin, death and disease were destroyed. That means that every sin that you have done, or will do is already forgiven. There is no need to confess your sins or jump through spiritual hoops in order to be saved. Jesus made everything new with his sacrifice, which is why we are now under grace and not the law. The problem with preachers such as Nelson and his wife is that they focus on the Old Testament and cast God in a light that is false. These types of preachers personify God as being vengeful and angry, when in fact, he is just the opposite, otherwise Jesus' sacrifice was for nothing. God loved man so much that he sacrificed his only son and gave all man the keys to his kingdom through Jesus. I don't wish to condemn those who preach the word, but living in the law is not what God had in mind.
