Top Chef competition benefits Vine School

The second annual Top Chef competition will be from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., Friday, April 23, at Club Westerner, 1005 W. Constitution St.

Local chefs will face off to decide Victoria's top culinary expert.

All those in attendance will judge the dishes prepared by Michele Bochat, Robert Briggs and Tonja Patterson, Scott McHaney, Myra, Myra and Me, John Pierce Jr., Matt Reid and Dr. Bruce Tharp.

Admission is $50 per person and includes a silent auction and drawings.

Proceeds benefit the Vine School, which serves children ages 2 to 8 with autism and other related communication disorders.
