Good Friday morning to everyone. I hope everyone survived the stress of filing federal income taxes and is ready to get on with the rest of the year. Since we work about a quarter of the year for Uncle Sam, I guess the rest of 2010 is all ours.

Our question of the day today deals with the condition of Victoria's city streets. What letter grade would you give them. No grading on the curve.

We'd like to know what you think. I'll be at Halepaska's Bakery until 9 a.m. then at the Kountry Bakery in Hallettsville until 11.

    I would give it a "D" for the condition of the city streets and a "FFF" for the time it takes the construction to be finished with the job. It should not take 1 or 2 years to do the job. They should be put on a time limit. The local politions are either on the take or just don't give a damm about the public and their taxes.
