• The board of directors of the LNRA are meeting tomorrow, April 21, at 7:30 am sharp. If you want to get involved, please attend. The board is comprised of good people, all Jackson County residents. It is important they know how the community and even those outside of the community feel about damming up the last free flowing river in Texas.

  • The other option is an off-channel reservoir (a big pond off in a pasture somewhere). You can read all about it here

  • "They're stuck on the fact that they think the board wants to dam the river," he said. "We're looking at two options, and they think we're looking more at damming the river more than the other. That's not true."
Surely there was enough space to serve up an explanation of what the 'other option' of the study is....why didn't you ask this question Advocate?? A feasability study is a feasability study is a feasability study. If you're not interested in building a dam, then why do a feasability study? I call BS!
